Mission Innovation Lead

I fell into Innovation leadership in the early 2000's, when I was lucky to lead global brand innovation projects for Diageo in Africa, Spain, UK and Europe on Guinness, Baileys, J&B and Smirnoff. Since then, I have built and led Innovation teams and programmes for SABMiller, pladisGlobal and Costa Coffee (The Coca Cola Co) - leading brand extensions, seasonal limited editions, renovations, disruptive new-to-world technologies, futures projects, business-wide capability programmes, training design and delivery, front end ideation and back-end commercialisation.

I have a strong bias to action, like to bring structure and momentum to any Innovation challenge, and bring fresh creative energy to unlock tricky business problems. I have gained deep insight into the cultural and capability drivers of innovation and have coached and built capability, both business-wide from CEO down and at an individual level as coach and mentor.

Now an independent consultant, I use my practical experience to help others to power up their innovation impact. I have delivered projects for Diageo, Unilever, Twinings, Bacardi and Bord Bia.
